A 45-year-old man was stabbed to death and left bleeding on a Queens sidewalk in a bar fight with a stranger that proved fatal late Sunday.
The bloody brawl spilled out of Kelly’s Pub on 41st Avenue in Flushing just before 10 p.m., police said.
Eliot Ortiz was found unconscious and unresponsive, with a stab wound to the head, in the doorway of the bar, cops said.
His alleged rival, Jason Schuler, 39, was discovered with six stab wounds to the back around the corner on Main Street, according to cops.
Both men were taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, where Ortiz – who lived about four blocks from the watering hole – was pronounced dead.
Schuler – who lives only about two blocks away – was charged early Monday with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
A knife was recovered in front of the bar.
The two men did not know each other prior to the brawl, cops said.
It remained unclear Monday what sparked the violence.
